Makes for a lovely read. But she waited all these years? It sounds good and romantic only in stories. I hope there are not many people who have gone through such things in real. It's simply sad to wait for a failed cause.

This is an absolutely beautiful story!! Coming to the part about khotachi wadi.. My maternal grand moms house is opposite to khotachi wadi called as Mohan building which is a chawl. I used to love going for strolls in khotachi wadi through the narrow lanes and admiring the quaint little houses like that from fairyland. But now girgaum has lost its charm with the many high rise buildings and so is the chawl undergoing a drastic change :(
